Proving your identity

When you open a new account with us, we’re required by Money Laundering Regulations to confirm your identity.

We’ll need to ask you for evidence of your name and address. Every bank, building society and financial institution needs to do this to comply with regulations which make it harder for criminals to use stolen identities.
